How can I register for a program?

Visit the different school sites to decide where you would like to study. Once you have decided which city you most want to visit, at that school's site, you select Registration Forms from the menu on the left. You complete the on-line form (GEOS Enrolment Application) and submit it. It will go directly to the school. You will receive a reply from the school within 24 hours (and often sooner), unless you have submitted the form on a weekend or school holiday. In that case, it may take a little longer to get a reply from the school.

Be sure to completely fill out the form. We need as much information as possible to complete your registration.

How much are the fees for the programs?

The fees are different for different programs. Students can register for part-time, Comprehensive or Intensive studies, depending on the school and the program. There are also electives, other language programs and test preparation programs. You can find detailed fee information for each school at their individual sites. If you cannot find the information you need on the fee chart for a school, please contact the school directly and someone will be happy to help you.

Do I have to pay all of the fees in advance?

All schools require full payment of all fees (with the exception of homestay fees) within 2 weeks of receiving the registration, or 30 days before the program start date, whichever comes first. Full payment is necessary to receive a Letter of Acceptance, Confirmation of Enrolment, and/or a Letter of Invitation. Some schools require advance payment of homestay fees as well. Please contact the school directly regarding the pre-payment of homestay fees.

How can I pay for my program?

Once you have sent the registration forms, the school will contact you to clarify any questions. Then they will send you an invoice for the program (by email usually, and by fax if you can provide a fax number). The invoice will include the bank account details for that school so that you can make payment by wire transfer. You may choose to pay by credit card – Visa and MasterCard – once you have started a dialogue with the school. Schools will also accept personal cheques and cash.
